WE WILL NEVER FORGET
Why? Because Vick is looking for a 2nd chance at adoption because
his family "deserves'' a dog. He had many 2nd chances each time he
purchased a pit bull for dog-fighting, each time he used an innocent
family dog as ''bait'', each time he trained and bred a pit bull for
dog-fighting, each time he electrocuted, hung, drowned and shot a dog to
death....or how about every time he wrote a check to Bad-Newz Kennels
for a dog-fighting competition?
He admits he did things to those dogs...would you want him to care for
your beloved family pet? What about his friends and others who don't
seem to care about the basic right to life?
Pledge drives like this one were created on a national level in response
to the aftermath of the investigation when it became public information
that Vick had full knowledge of the dog-fighting on his property. It is
to bring awareness to his victims - all breeds of dogs used as fighters
and as bait- which encourage stereotypes about dog-fighting, elevates
media hype about pit bulls only bred to attack, and to educate
communities at risk of breed specific legislation (BSL).
Casper, Wyoming – 08/10/12 – Macy’s will partner with Paws2Help
Foundation to invite customers to participate in Macy’s seventh annual “Shop for
a Cause” charity shopping event. Macy’s 2012 Shop for a Cause will take place
on August 25, 2012; customers can purchase tickets now from Paws2Help
Foundation. Macy’s Shop For A Cause is a unique one-day-only shopping event
created to support local charities’ fundraising
efforts, which have helped raised more than $42 million for charities
across the country since 2006.
“Giving
back is a cornerstone of Macy’s culture, and through our annual Shop For A
Cause program Macy’s has been able to raise more than $42 million for local and
national charities that are meaningful for our customers and associates,” said
Martine Reardon, Macy’s chief marketing officer. “We are proud to offer our

Macy’s has provided Paws2Help
Foundation with shopping passes to sell for $5 each. The organization will keep
100% of every ticket it sells. The more tickets sold by Paws2Help Foundation,
the more money it will raise!
By purchasing a shopping pass to the event from Paws2Help Foundation, customers support that
provides, in conjunction with Popish Veterinary Clinic, medical care for homeless
animals and animals at Metro Animal Shelter, while enjoying a day of spectacular
discounts, entertainment, special events. Pass holders will enjoy special
discounts on most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day. (Some
exclusions apply.)
